Title Problem of Early Marriage
Contents From 19-20 years up to 35-40 years can be considered as youth. The main issues that women have to face during this period are marriage, sexual life, pregnancy etc. The most important thing in the marriage maters is the age of the woman. At which age should one marry; if there is such an age, is there a reason behind it? According to the child marriage prohibition act , it is punishable for the boy to marry before 21 and the girl to marry before 18 years of age. The problems related to marriage at a young age led the government to take such a decision. Even though the marriageable age of girls has been set as 18, still their mental & physical growth is not complete. Physical growth continues even after the teenage years. How to Identify Perfect Age ? The bones in the body especially the hip bones will reach their complete growth only by the age of 21-22. Giving birth before this age will lead to many difficulties and complications for the mother. Especially the chances of damage to the internal organs of the baby are very high. Besides problems like abortion, premature delivery, less weight for the infant during birth, lack of breast milk, the mental stress after delivery is seen to be more for those who give birth early. Besides the disorders during delivery, the mental strength for marriage, becoming pregnant and delivery will be less. The ability and strength to bear the delivery pain will be less for them. The caesarean operation done for this age group is therefore more. The correct age for becoming pregnant and delivery is between 22 and 25 years of age. Another main issue is the sexual life at a young age. Research reveals that this is a major reason for cervical cancer. Even though in our community, our parents and relatives take the decisions related to marriage, the couples who have to live with mutual understanding and dependence should take the final decision. Since after marriage, we have to take up the responsibility of our family, it is better to think about the same after completing your studies and finding yourself a job. --hubpages.com
