Title	Catering the basic need
Contents	As the name suggests, they are indeed talented. “Talented” is the catering unit exclusively run by women at Cheruvanoor in Kozhikode district. It was 3 years since 10 housewives from TP Hospital locality came forward to start this catering unit. The fund to start this unit was provided by the panchyath. In these 3 years the unit has risen to such a level that it can cater to the order of food for 500 persons at a time. These women provide the customers a variety of food like Sadya, Pathiri etc. People from neighbouring districts too come here to get the taste of the food. However parotta and samoosa does not have a place in their kitchen as it does not have any protein content in them instead increases cholesterol, according to the women who prepares food here. They take orders for almost all types pf parties. Apart from the taste of the food what makes them so popular is that they place all their orders in time without any delay. M Geetha is the president of the unit. It is sure that the unit will grow in the coming years.
