SiliconIndia organized women summit at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) in association with the platinum partner Harbinger group. This summit was organized across six cities - Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.
The event emphasized on providing a platform for women professionals to interact, network and to enhance professional development and addressing the challenges of career advancement at all levels.
"Social Media can be a perfect platform for women to create and image. It is important to learn how women can use online world and exploit their ability to connect with the world and build relationship," said Radha Giri, Associate Vice President (Product Marketing) at Harbinger Group, in her Keynote Session. Her session involved many games and puzzles which pointed out the importance of social networking services and how they can help women to empower themselves.
